About The Position

Owns the full product lifecycle of Net Health’s Salesforce Experience Cloud community, a strategic customer and partner platform treated as a product rather than a static site. This is an individual-contributor builder role, not a people-management position. The role combines approximately 70% hands-on building and technical design—including Apex, LWC, Flow, integrations, and Agentforce—with approximately 30% product ownership, including roadmap, backlog, requirements, and metrics. The role has authority over community technical decisions within standards set by the Enterprise Technology/Salesforce platform team. The Product Owner owns the community roadmap and backlog, leads agile delivery and release planning, and designs, builds, tests, and deploys custom Experience Cloud functionality. The role also serves as the in-house Experience Cloud authority, owns the community data model and architecture, develops and monitors Agentforce capabilities, maintains community operations, and works with cross-functional stakeholders to improve engagement, self-service, and case deflection.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Flow.
  • 1–2+ years of specific Experience Cloud experience, including Experience Builder, themes, topics and navigation, LWC in communities, and external-user sharing and guest access.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of scoping, building, and shipping a feature without depending on a separate product owner or development team.
  • Product and Agile experience, including roadmap, backlog, and sprint work for a digital product or platform.
  • Source-driven development experience using SFDX, Git, sandbox-to-production processes, and Apex unit testing.
  • REST/SOAP API integration experience, including authentication and error handling.
  • Hands-on Agentforce or comparable AI-agent experience in configuration, grounding, tuning, and monitoring.
  • Track record of improving case-deflection metrics.
  • Ability to build Salesforce reports and dashboards; familiarity with Experience Workspaces and Insights.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, including the ability to produce technical design documents, release notes, and community guidelines.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha, or Wiki; Git-based source control; Office 365; and Salesforce platform tools such as Experience Builder, SFDX, and VS Code.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification required. Candidates without the certification may be considered if their Apex/LWC experience is strong and they complete the certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical or business field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience owning a knowledge base or self-service channel, including taxonomy, findability, and content quality.
  • Experience defining or tuning AI-agent grounding sources such as Salesforce Knowledge or Data Cloud.
  • Experience in a governed Salesforce environment, including change control, release management, and partnership with Admins or Architects.
  • Background in customer success, technical support, or SaaS operations.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Experience Cloud Consultant, or an Agile/product credential such as CSPO or CSM.
  • Familiarity with product analytics or UX tools such as Pendo or Google Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the community roadmap and backlog; write user stories and acceptance criteria, reprioritize requests and technical debt, and coordinate cross-team dependencies.
  • Lead agile ceremonies, accept or reject sprint deliverables, manage release cadence and rollout strategy, present results to non-technical stakeholders, and report delivery to CX leadership.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy custom Experience Cloud functionality using LWC, Apex, Flow, platform events, and asynchronous Apex.
  • Build REST and SOAP API integrations with appropriate authentication and error handling.
  • Own the external-user security model, including sharing sets, permission sets, and guest access.
  • Use source-driven development practices with SFDX, Git, and CI/CD; tune SOQL for efficiency and governor limits; review contributor code against organization-wide standards.
  • Serve as the in-house Experience Cloud authority; own the community data model, component architecture, and technical design.
  • Define and track community success metrics, including engagement, deflection, and satisfaction; monitor Salesforce release cycles and plan remediation before enforcement dates.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the platform roadmap.
  • Build and tune Agentforce AI agents, including topics, prompt templates, and Apex- or Flow-backed actions; monitor containment and case-deflection metrics and improve agent capabilities across Salesforce releases.
  • Distinguish genuine customer resolution from suppressed escalations and drive appropriate fixes in code, configuration, or content.
  • Maintain community structural health, including topics, navigation, moderation, and case workflows.
  • Partner with Product Education and Support on onboarding and participation programs; align the roadmap with Client Success, Marketing, and Product.
  • Handle escalations with sound judgment and report community performance to CX and commercial leadership in terms of operating leverage.
