About the position
In this Salesforce Technical Lead role at Vectra, you will be responsible for managing and driving the implementation and success of Salesforce within the company. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with stakeholders to refine business requirements, leading the team's technical activities, validating solutions, reviewing code, and providing technical mentorship. You will also be involved in developing automation, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring seamless integration of systems and technology using code and configuration. Additionally, you should have solid experience working on the Salesforce platform, with expertise in at least two Salesforce modules and a strong emphasis on Salesforce CPQ.
Responsibilities
- Develop automation and optimize operational processes using code and configuration
- Design and develop solutions to extend Salesforce, both declarative and coded
- Improve data quality by identifying system improvements and implementing changes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine business requirements and deliver enhancements
- Lead the team's activities from a technical standpoint
- Validate solutions, review code, and provide technical mentorship to team members
- Provide first-tier support for internal customers using Jira Service Desk ticketing system
- Own and drive projects involving multiple enhancement requests using Salesforce CRM and CPQ
- Perform mass updates within Salesforce.com to standardize company information and integrate third-party data
- Work on Salesforce platform with expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Digital experiences
- Possess Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certificate
- Lead teams of Developers, Business Analysts, and Testers
- Utilize declarative development tools of Salesforce, such as Validation Rules, Process Builders, and Flows
- Design, implement, configure, maintain, and integrate solutions on Salesforce Lightning Cloud platform (LWC)
- Have hands-on knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, data loaders, SOQL, SOSL, and web services
- Understand Salesforce security model and build integrations with external applications
- Implement best practices for migrating changes using CI technologies like Salesforce DX and ANT
- Adhere to coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code.
Requirements
- Solid experience working on the Salesforce platform
- Expertise in at least 2 of the following Salesforce modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Digital experiences
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certificate
- Experience in both development roles and technical leadership roles
- Strong experience with declarative development tools of Salesforce (Validation Rules, Process Builders, Flows)
- Design, develop, implement, configure, maintain, administer, and integrate solutions on Salesforce Lightning Cloud platform (LWC)
- Hands-on knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, data loaders, SOQL, SOSL, and web services
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security model
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth, and Single Sign-On
- Knowledge of CI technologies like Salesforce DX and ANT for migrating changes from development to test to production environment(s)
- Adherence to defined coding standards and ability to develop well-structured, maintainable, and easy to understand code.
