About The Position

The Salesfloor Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained to work in multiple store areas based on business needs.

The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; operates the register according to established procedures; promotes credit and loyalty programs; processes merchandise for the sales floor; and contributes to store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
