Cashier/Salesfloor Associate
About The Position
The Cashier/Salesfloor Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate adheres to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor, and safety standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and includes cashiering, merchandising, merchandise processing, sales-floor recovery, and store cleanliness duties.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in keeping the entire store clean.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
