About The Position

Sales associates work closely with customers, providing product knowledge about features, warranties, discounts, deals, and other product information. They maintain the store’s visual appearance by managing displays and keeping up with trends and competition. They are expected to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, achieve sales goals, and represent the store positively. This is a part-time, non-exempt retail store position in the Salesfloor department. It reports to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, determine their needs and wants, and recommend merchandise.
Advise customers on merchandise use and care as needed.
Answer customer questions and concerns promptly and courteously.
Stock and recover merchandise.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
Ensure proper signage is in place throughout the assigned department.
Use a computer to check prices and inventory.
Assist with inventory preparation.
Create special orders as needed.
Stay alert to potential safety hazards in the store for employees or customers.
Handle customer complaints, questions, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Bring carts in from outside.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
