About The Position

Sales associates work closely with customers, providing product knowledge about features, warranties, special discounts, deals, and other product information. They maintain the store’s visual appearance by managing displays and keeping up with trends and competition. The role also involves building and maintaining long-term customer relationships to achieve sales goals and represent the store positively.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, determine their needs and wants, and recommend merchandise.
Advise customers on the use and care of merchandise as needed.
Answer customer questions or concerns promptly and in a friendly manner.
Stock and recover merchandise.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
Ensure proper signage is in place throughout the assigned department.
Use a computer to check prices and inventories.
Assist with inventory preparation.
Create special orders as needed.
Remain alert to hazards in the store that could affect employees or customers.
Handle customer complaints, questions, or concerns promptly, professionally, and in a friendly manner.
Bring in carts from outside.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
