About The Position

We are searching for a dedicated Sales Trainer/ Sales Process Coach to join our dynamic team. Requirements

  • 5+ years of residential HVAC or Plumbing sales experience.
  • Proven experience teaching and instructing groups, as well as one-on-one interactions.
  • Demonstrated experience providing sales process training, ideally in a multi-location, corporate or national setting.
  • Familiar with Home Services membership programs, consumer financing programs, sale of system changeout/upgrade packages, and other residential sales enhancement techniques.
  • Understanding business development, particularly in generating qualified leads.
  • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Suite and various development tools, to enhance training effectiveness and engagement.
  • Familiar with Service Titan or similar Home Services tools.
  • A confident and engaging public speaker who can lead and inspire others in both a classroom setting and in one-on-one scenarios with technicians, salespeople, or homeowners.

Nice To Haves

  • Shadowing different Trainers as they conduct sales training at various locations.
  • Continually improving the training curriculum, incorporating role-playing exercises, capability assessments, and field observations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting sales process training in a classroom setting, working with groups of 1-10 individuals across both dedicated sales and mixed technician/sales roles.
  • Riding with salespeople and technicians during customer visits, demonstrating techniques, and assisting in managing complex customer interactions.
  • Teach both new and existing employees about the key steps of the sale process, how to overcome objectives, ethical sales practices, and the value of a premium customer service and sales experience.
  • Designing and building class materials and curriculum to ensure sales team members are well-prepared to succeed.
  • Equipping sales professionals with the skills to navigate a systematic sales process, providing hands-on coaching to drive success.
  • Leading change initiatives, promoting standardization, and subtly influencing compliance to achieve buy-in.
  • Collaborating effectively with other teams, fostering teamwork, and ensuring alignment between sales and business development.
