About The Position

Fastenal is hiring a full-time, entry-level Sales Support employee at its branch at 4227 E Raines Rd, Memphis, Tennessee. The role assists customers and supports sales in a fast-paced environment. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding and training and once performance goals are met. The listed shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position combines customer service and sales support with inventory management, order fulfillment, receiving and shipping inventory, and deliveries using a company vehicle. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a current, full, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet driving-record requirements for use of a company vehicle as needed.
Possess or be working toward a degree in Business or Marketing, or have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Show strong sales aptitude and a desire to sell.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen in the United States, Puerto Rico, or Guam.
