About The Position

This is an entry-level, full-time Sales Support position at Fastenal’s branch in Wadesboro, North Carolina. The role assists customers and supports sales and branch operations in a fast-paced environment. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding and training and after performance goals are met. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fastenal describes an entrepreneurial culture focused on employee development, training, promotion from within, and opportunities to advance. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the work.
Possess or be working toward a degree in Business or Marketing, or have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Show a strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service-oriented.
Demonstrate the company’s core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).

Nice To Haves

Possess a current, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet the driving record requirements for use of a company vehicle as needed.
