About The Position

Fastenal is hiring a part-time, entry-level Sales Support employee at its in-plant store in Edgewater, Florida. The role provides customer and sales assistance, supports inventory and order operations, and may involve deliveries in a company vehicle. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding and training and once performance goals are met. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for up to 28 hours per week.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the work.
Possess or be working toward a degree in Business or Marketing, or have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Exhibit a strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate the company’s core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and sometimes up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen where applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.

Nice To Haves

Possess a current, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including successful completion of any applicable graduated licensing program, and meet the driving record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
