About The Position

Ulrich Lifestyle Structures is hiring a Sales Support Specialist for their Design Center in Harrisonburg, VA. This role focuses on responding to inbound customer inquiries from phone, website, and social media, greeting walk-in customers, and qualifying leads before connecting them with Designers. The company specializes in custom storage sheds, garages, cabins, workshops, playhouses, and backyard spaces. This position primarily works with inbound leads rather than cold calling, with customers seeking to design and purchase various backyard structures. Garage inquiries are partnered with the Garage Division for specialized support.

Requirements

• Sales or customer-facing experience preferred (retail, inside sales, or service environments)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to guide conversations and identify customer needs
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and Google Workspace
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Interest in helping customers bring their backyard projects to life

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries from phone, website, and social media
• Greet walk-in customers at the Design Center
• Ask questions to understand the customer's project, timeline, and goals
• Present Ulrich's products and help customers explore their options
• Enter customer information and notes into our CRM
• Schedule appointments with Designers for detailed project consultations
• Follow up with interested customers and missed appointments
• Maintain a clean and welcoming showroom environment

• Base Salary: $31,200 – $41,600 depending on experience
