About The Position

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sales organization and customers for the NEMA products. The Sales Support Specialist will support business growth through technical support to customers, sales units and other ABB divisions during the pre- and post-sale stages. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree with NEMA or electrical motor product background
  • Working knowledge of Baldor’s SAP and other company’s electronic tools
  • Understand manufacturing concepts, processes and Flex-Flow and Lean concepts
  • Understand international laws, trade compliance, and US export, incoterms and exchange rates and ABB intercompany/international trade and routing practices

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for plants, engineering, district offices, and customers handling order related emails, product inquiries, and system issues.
  • Coordinate expedited orders, hot shipments, inspections, and design updates while managing communication across customers and internal teams.
  • Develop custom configurations and quotes, process domestic/international shipments, and resolve logistics challenges.
  • Review specifications, manage vendor/customer setups, approve credits, and lead cross-functional coordination to resolve order issues and support project execution.
