About The Position

This is an 11-month contract assignment (W-2) for a Sales Support Analyst, supporting direct and/or indirect sales activities for most deregulated markets in the Natural Gas and Retail Energy sector. The role involves conducting complex operational analyses and leading project teams to support informed decision-making. Key responsibilities include handling custom pricing requests, processing commercial sales agreements, and setting up prospects and accounts. The position is based in Houston, Texas, and reports to the Sales Support Manager. The client seeks experienced individuals with a winning attitude.

Responsibilities

Support direct and/or indirect sales activities for most deregulated markets.
Conduct complex operational analyses.
Lead medium to large project teams that support informed decision-making.
Handle custom pricing requests.
Process commercial sales agreements.
Set up prospects and accounts.
Act as a liaison between Internal Sales Team, Channel Partners and Customers.
Analyze inbound requests for proposals.
Perform account set up.
Gather usage data.
Manage changes to proposals and pricing refreshes.
Handle opportunity set up to allow for bidding.
Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met and accurately.
Proactively engage in process design and modification for continuous business improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally across all internal departments.
Increase awareness of front to end process of cross functional teams and impacts to current team responsibility.
