Job Overview We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our Missouri sales team. In this role, you will support all of KI's core markets, including higher education, K-12, commercial, healthcare, and state and local government. You will build relationships with end-user clients, architects and designers, dealers, general contractors, and real estate developers throughout the territory. This is a remote, home office-based position. The compensation package includes a base salary of approximately $90,000, plus commission beginning with the first dollar sold.

Requirements

  • Previous sales or design experience in the furniture industry or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to transport and carry sales samples as needed.
  • Proficiency with CRM technology, preferably Salesforce (SFDC).

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships with architects, designers, and end-user clients are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, advance, and close sales opportunities.
  • Represent the KI brand by providing expertise in client space applications and workplace solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with architects and designers, end-user clients, influencers, strategic partners, and prospective customers to generate leads and drive sales growth.
  • Facilitate lunch-and-learn presentations with clients and industry partners.
  • Conduct Continuing Education Unit (CEU) programs and educational events.
  • Maintain all sales-related activity in Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring pipeline data is accurate, complete, and current.
  • Participate in community activities and key industry organizations to generate sales opportunities and enhance KI's brand presence.
