Sales & Service Garage Door Technician
About The Position
ProLift Garage Doors is hiring a Sales & Service Technician for our Bucks, Montgomery, and Chester County territory. This role offers a unique opportunity where your earnings are directly tied to your performance. You will receive base pay plus commission on doors, openers, and upgrades sold in the field, meaning your hard work and smart approach will directly increase your income. Top technicians can earn well into the $220,000 range. You will be trained on premium Hörmann doors and LiftMaster openers, receive qualified service calls, and be provided with a stocked company truck and a tablet with ServiceTitan for on-the-spot quoting and closing. This position is ideal for individuals who are money-motivated, mechanically capable, and desire a role where their effort directly impacts their paycheck.
Requirements
- A closer's mindset in a technician's body, you like fixing things AND you like selling
- Comfortable talking price and value with homeowners — confident, not pushy
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physically able to handle lifting, ladders, and field work in varied conditions
Nice To Haves
- Garage door, trades, in-home sales, or hands-on mechanical experience is a plus (we'll train the right hustler)
- Gate experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Run pre-scheduled service and installation calls for residential and commercial customers
- Diagnose the problem, present options, and close the sale: springs, openers, full door replacements, and upgrades
- Build tickets and quotes on the spot in ServiceTitan and earn commission on what you sell
- Deliver clean, professional workmanship that earns 5-star reviews and repeat business
- Turn every call into an opportunity, for the customer and for your paycheck
