About The Position

The Sales Representative represents Club Pilates to potential clients, brings new prospects and members into the studio, and closes sales for memberships, private training, teacher training, and retail merchandise. The role also focuses on retaining current members through excellent customer service. A fitness background is preferred but not required; candidates with a strong sales background are considered ideal. The position is in person, with hourly pay and the opportunity to earn commission on sales. The studio operates Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with AM and PM shifts, and Friday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 or 2 p.m. Availability for one weekend day is required. Expected hours are 16–32 per week.

Requirements

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to achieve sales goals for memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
• Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system.
• Ability to stand or sit for up to eight hours during the workday.
• Excellent in-person, phone, and email communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Availability to work one weekend day.

Nice To Haves

• Fitness background preferred but not required.
• Strong sales background is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Execute the sales process, including lead generation, follow-up, and closing.
• Conduct facility tours, build relationships, and identify each prospect’s needs and preferences.
• Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales production.
• Emphasize and enforce the club’s objectives as a fitness and wellness provider.
• Present available services to current and prospective members.
• Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quotas.
• Provide customer service to help retain current members.
