About The Position

Sleep Number Sales Representatives help customers find products that meet their sleep needs while contributing directly to the company’s purpose of improving lives through personalized sleep. The role combines personalized customer service, product education, relationship-building, and sales in a retail showroom. Representatives explain product benefits and promotions, pursue prospective customers through outbound calls, maintain the showroom, and participate in training and coaching. The position offers a base hourly rate, uncapped commission, and bonus potential.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
• Goal-oriented, customer-focused attitude and drive to exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• 1–2 years of retail, customer service, or other customer-facing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in consultative or relationship-based sales, ideally in a commission-driven environment.
• Comfort using CRM systems, point-of-sale technology, and interactive sales tools such as iPads and apps.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Discover each customer’s sleep needs and match them with appropriate Sleep Number products.
• Explain product benefits and current promotions to deliver personalized customer experiences, increase satisfaction, and exceed sales goals.
• Nurture prospective customers through outbound calls and build relationships that generate repeat and new business.
• Work with the team to maintain a polished showroom and provide an exceptional store experience.
• Participate in sales practice training and coaching to develop sales skills.

• Base rate of $17.75 per hour, uncapped commission, and bonus potential.
