About The Position

Sleep Number Sales Representatives help customers personalize their sleep by identifying their needs and recommending suitable products. The role delivers tailored customer experiences, explains product benefits and promotions, and contributes to customer satisfaction and sales goals. Representatives also build relationships with prospective customers through outbound calls, maintain a polished showroom, and participate in sales training and coaching.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
• Goal-oriented, customer-focused attitude and drive to exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• 1–2 years of retail, customer service, or other customer-facing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in consultative or relationship-based sales, ideally in a commission-driven environment.
• Comfort using CRM systems, point-of-sale technology, and interactive sales tools such as iPads and apps.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Discover customers’ sleep needs and match them with appropriate Sleep Number products.
• Explain product benefits and current promotions to deliver personalized experiences, support customer satisfaction, and exceed sales goals.
• Nurture prospective customers through outbound calls and build relationships that generate repeat and new business.
• Work with the team to maintain a polished showroom and provide an exceptional store experience.
• Participate in sales practice training and coaching.
