About The Position

Sleep Number is hiring a Sales Representative to help customers find sleep products suited to their needs and contribute to the company’s purpose of improving lives by personalizing sleep. This retail sales role offers uncapped commission and bonus potential, with a stated base rate of $16 per hour. Most team members earn $47,000–$58,000 annually, though actual earnings vary and are not guaranteed.

The representative creates personalized customer experiences, builds relationships with prospective and returning customers, and helps maintain a polished showroom. The position includes sales practice training and coaching. Candidates should have 1–2 years of retail, customer service, or other customer-facing experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. A flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required.

• Discover customers’ sleep needs and match them with appropriate Sleep Number products.
• Explain product benefits and current promotions clearly, delivering personalized experiences that support customer satisfaction and sales goals.
• Nurture prospective customers through outbound calls and build relationships that generate repeat and new business.
• Work with the team to maintain a polished showroom and provide an exceptional store experience.
• Participate in sales practice training and coaching.
