About The Position

Baker Hughes is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and sales-driven Project Coordinator to support our Sales team in managing new installation and capital projects. This role plays a critical part in coordinating activities between Sales, Engineering, Operations, field representatives, EPC firms, and end-user engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of high-profile projects. The Project Coordinator will serve as a central coordination point for both Continental Disc and Groth Corporation brand opportunities, supporting revenue growth across both product lines. While this role offers periodic travel and customer engagement opportunities, the primary day-to-day responsibilities are desk-based and focused on project coordination, quote development, internal communication, and commercial support activities.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years experience in project coordination, inside sales, or industrial sales support.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and CRM systems.
  • Experience supporting manufacturer representative networks or field sales teams.
  • Experience working with EPC firms or industrial end users.
  • A background in industrial equipment, pressure relief devices, or engineered products.
  • An understanding of project-based sales cycles and specification-driven sales.
  • Working knowledge of computers sufficient to successfully use company ERP system, Microsoft Windows and Office.
  • Intermediate math skills.
  • Knowledge of units of measure.

  • Ability to read basic submittal drawings.

  • Current work authorization in the country of employment. The employer is unable to provide or continue work authorization sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Creating detailed, accurate quotations for new installation and capital projects with a high degree of precision in pricing, product configuration, and commercial terms.
  • Coordinating closely with Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Sales to ensure technical and commercial alignment.
  • Conducting and participating in virtual meetings (Microsoft Teams) with field representatives, EPC firms, end users, and internal stakeholders.
  • Tracking project milestones and ensuring timely follow‑up on open opportunities.
  • Managing technical submittments, documentation packages, and drawing coordination.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records, project tracking tools, and commercial documentation.
  • Supporting order entry accuracy and review of contractual requirements prior to order acceptance.
  • Actively supporting field representatives in their sales pursuits from early specification through project award.
  • Serving as a primary internal technical resource for field representatives on both Continental Disc and Groth product lines.
  • Developing strong product and application knowledge to provide guidance on sizing concepts, configurations, compliance requirements, and competitive positioning.
  • Assisting field representatives with customer strategy, quote refinement, and technical clarification.
  • Providing rapid response to technical and commercial inquiries to help field representatives advance opportunities.
  • Participating in strategy calls with representatives to align on high‑profile accounts and target projects.
  • Periodically traveling with field representatives to customer sites to strengthen relationships and support sales efforts.
  • Delivering on‑site product presentations and persuasive sales presentations to EPC customers, engineers, project managers, and key decision‑makers.
  • Supporting commercial contract review and negotiation in coordination with Sales Management and Legal.
  • Assisting with review of customer terms and conditions, identifying commercial risks and required deviations.
  • Participating in nuclear transaction contract review, including documentation related to quality, compliance, and commercial obligations.
  • Supporting negotiation and documentation of nuclear order liability terms, working with internal stakeholders to ensure risk alignment and approval compliance.
  • Helping coordinate internal approval processes for non‑standard commercial terms and nuclear‑specific requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of contract deviations, approvals, and negotiated terms.
  • Serving as a liaison between Sales, Legal, Engineering, and Operations to ensure contract terms are clearly communicated and executable.
