About The Position

Rooms To Go is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to help customers select furniture and create their desired home designs. Associates receive paid training, sales tools, advertising, financing, and delivery support. Compensation averages approximately $70,000–$100,000 per year, depending on commission and location. Nice To Haves

Two or more years of retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training is available for the right candidate.
Experience working directly with customers, including in service roles such as serving, bartending, retail sales, real estate, or flight attendance.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers.
Identify customers’ home furnishing needs and help them realize their design vision.
Generate sales using a consultative approach.
Build rapport through interpersonal and listening skills, and earn customers’ business through honest, integrity-based conversations.
Recommend additional products to complete a room.
Work as a team to achieve sales goals.
Explain financing and protection plans.
Demonstrate product value and explain benefits that meet customers’ needs.
