About The Position

Goodwill Industries--Knoxville, Inc. is seeking a full-time Sales/Production Associate for its retail store in Lenoir City. This regular, non-exempt role pays $12 per hour. The position involves customer service, sales, cashiering, stocking, sorting, inventory management, sizing, color coordination, and cleaning activities. Candidates should be energetic and flexible, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. The schedule is flexible and includes nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Receive donations by greeting donors, accepting and unloading donated materials, and thanking donors.
Sort, separate, and hang clothing and household items; sort, test, clean, and mark small appliances, housewares, shoes, seasonal items, and other merchandise.
Conduct sales transactions and handle cash and credit card transactions according to procedures for voids, discounts, refunds, checks, and credit card payments.
Clean floors, shelves, windows, the break room, store fixtures, fitting rooms, the dock area, the store exterior, and merchandise counters; report issues requiring maintenance repairs.
Assist customers, price merchandise, support fitting-room operations, offer recycling bags, explain store operations, and use sales techniques that may enhance sales and the store's community image.
Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
