About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, staying current on product knowledge and advertised sales, and helping customers make purchasing decisions. This is a part-time position with a starting pay rate of $15.00 to $17.75.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to move objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally move or lift objects up to 100 pounds or more with a team lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Replenish and restock products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist customers with buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
