About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, and helping customers make buying decisions through needs assessment and product recommendations. The position is part-time and works under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

Support a commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
Demonstrate products to customers.
Replenish and restock products according to merchandising guidelines and as required.
Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending products.
Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
Perform other duties as assigned.
