About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a high standard of customer service and helps ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience.

The Outfitter demonstrates products, replenishes and restocks merchandise, maintains product knowledge through ongoing training, and keeps informed about advertised sales, pricing, and signage. The position also assists with seasonal floor merchandise moves and keeps the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies. Employees follow company policies and procedures and help customers make buying decisions by identifying needs, recommending products, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to stand and/or walk constantly during the shift and meet the stated physical requirements, including moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally lifting or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more with team assistance as needed.

• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs, recommend products, and promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
