About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, and helping customers make informed buying decisions. The Outfitter works under general supervision and uses established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, world-class customer service and a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products to customers and provide information, assistance, and direction.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and recommend products based on that analysis.
• Promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
