About The Position

The Sales Outfitter - Firearms maintains counter sales and customer service for firearms, along with floor and counter sales of other hunting merchandise. The role includes greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction.

The position supports a world-class customer service commitment and seeks to provide every customer with a pleasant, productive, and legendary shopping experience. It involves helping customers make buying decisions, maintaining and replenishing merchandise, staying knowledgeable about products and advertised sales, and following company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition.
• Knowledge of ATF federal and state regulations.
• Knowledge of customer service and sales of firearms and ammunition.
• Knowledge of GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience.
• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner.
• Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending products.
• Promote programs, including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Ensure ATF Form 4473 paperwork is completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Develop the ability to demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain merchandise for sales at the gun counter.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
