About The Position

The Sales Outfitter - Archery performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant, productive shopping experience and provides a legendary experience by helping customers make buying decisions through identifying and evaluating their needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.

The position demonstrates products, maintains product knowledge through ongoing training, replenishes and restocks merchandise, maintains advertised pricing and signage, assists with seasonal floor merchandise moves, and keeps the work area clean, neat, and stocked. The employee follows company policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned. Work is performed under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and opportunities to recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate with customers and associates in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner; provide information, assistance, and direction.
• Assist customers with buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines and as required.
• Remain knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
