Archery Sales Outfitter - Part Time
About The Position
The Sales Outfitter - Archery performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise carefully, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant, productive shopping experience and provides a legendary experience by understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products, demonstrating merchandise, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. The outfitter maintains product knowledge through ongoing training, stays informed about advertised sales and pricing, replenishes and restocks merchandise, assists with seasonal floor moves, and keeps the work area clean and supplied. The position follows company policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned. Work is performed under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment and recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
- Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.
Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner; provide information, assistance, and direction.
- Support a pleasant and productive shopping experience and provide a legendary customer experience.
- Identify and evaluate customer needs, recommend products, and promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
- Demonstrate products to customers.
- Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
- Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing.
- Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines and as needed.
- Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
- Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
