About The Position

The Sales Outfitter - Archery performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, and helping customers make informed buying decisions. The position works under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the shift and meet the physical demands listed in the posting, including moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally moving or lifting objects up to 100 pounds or more with a team lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt customer service and help create a pleasant and productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products to customers and provide information, assistance, and direction.
• Assess customer needs and recommend products; promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training and stay informed about advertised sales, pricing, and signage.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines, including assisting with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
