About The Position

The Sales Outfitter - Archery performs sales and customer-service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise carefully, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining product knowledge, replenishing merchandise, and helping customers make informed purchasing decisions. The position works under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Provide a pleasant and productive shopping experience and a legendary experience for every customer.
• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner.
• Handle merchandise with care and provide customers with information, assistance, and direction.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and make product recommendations based on that analysis.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Replenish and restock merchandise as required and follow merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain ongoing product knowledge and remain knowledgeable about advertised sales, pricing, and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
