About the position
As the Sales Operations Manager at Homebase, you will play a crucial role in measuring and analyzing sales performance, optimizing sales processes, managing the sales tech stack, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of the sales team. You will be responsible for gathering and interpreting sales data, generating reports and actionable insights, identifying areas for improvement within the sales process, overseeing the implementation and management of sales tools and technologies, and staying abreast of emerging trends in AI tools and technologies. Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data to generate reports and actionable insights
- Create dashboards, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to track sales progress
- Evaluate sales strategies and make recommendations for improvement
- Identify areas for improvement within the sales process and implement strategies to enhance efficiency
- Streamline workflows and reduce bottlenecks in the sales process
- Oversee the implementation and management of sales tools and technologies
- Ensure the sales team has the necessary tools and resources for maximum productivity
- Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in AI tools and technologies
- Identify opportunities to implement AI for sales process optimization and automation
Requirements
- 4+ years of Sales Operations experience in a high-volume sales environment
- Proficient in data analysis techniques, with a strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze large sets of data efficiently - particularly with regard to sales funnel analytics
- Proven experience in identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis, and translating them into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in using data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R) to extract insights and draw meaningful conclusions
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and optimizing sales tech stacks, including CRM systems (specifically Salesforce or HubSpot) and sales automation tools like Outreach or Salesloft
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive implementation
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Familiarity with AI tools and their potential applications in sales operations
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred)
