About The Position

Stanton Optical is seeking a Sales Manager to act as the sales leader, assisting the Brand Manager in supervising and executing action plans to drive sales performance while creating a positive, results-driven team atmosphere. This role involves supporting store operations, training and coaching associates, fostering partnerships with the Clinical team and Lab Staff, and gaining exposure to Senior Leadership. Stanton Optical is a fast-growing, full-service retail optical center dedicated to offering excellent customer service and quality eyewear at affordable prices. Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership ability with at least one year of experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Experience planning and implementing sales strategies, as well as directing a sales team.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
  • Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Schedule flexibility; work hours determined by business needs.
  • Knowledgeable about MS Word, Google Docs, etc.

  • Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales to exceed personal and store goals while delivering outstanding customer service experience.
  • Support Brand Manager duties, frequently acting as Manager on Duty.
  • Support store talent acquisition and talent development, including recruiting, partnering with the Recruiting Department, training new team members, and developing store associates.
  • Build strong partnerships with Clinical services.
  • Analyze daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to ensure staff members are achieving desired goals.
  • Communicate effectively and build strong partnerships with the Support Center and Human Resources.
  • Ensure proper lab production to achieve 'Now Service' and 'Ready When Promised' standards.
  • Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery of eyeglasses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure brand standards are met in the lab area and notify management of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, incorrect lenses, etc.
  • Track delivery time commitments to patients to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required.
