Pipeline: Project Manager

SweetRush,
Remote

About The Position

SweetRush is building a pipeline of Contract Project Managers to support dynamic, fast-moving teams across communications, marketing, technology, and content operations. As a Contract Project Manager at SweetRush, you will own the day-to-day execution of individual projects — ensuring that deliverables stay on schedule, budgets are managed, stakeholders stay aligned, and quality standards are met from kickoff through completion. This role is ideal for a detail-driven, highly organized professional who thrives on turning complex, multi-stakeholder work into clear plans and smooth execution. You will work across a variety of project types in the following domains: Technology, Business Development, Marketing, Language & Translation, and Communications. Candidates should have current or previous experience at a top-tier organization — including Microsoft, Apple, Alphabet (Google), Amazon, Netflix, Walmart, UnitedHealth Group, ExxonMobil, Nvidia, and Berkshire Hathaway. SweetRush is a remote organization, and as such, all resources must be technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, be comfortable with virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools, and generally be available during established working hours.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in marketing, technology, communications, content, or related fields
  • Proven ability to manage individual projects end-to-end with complex timelines, multiple workstreams, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience delivering projects across two or more of the following domains: Technology, Business Development, Marketing, Language & Translation, or Communications
  • Strong command of project management fundamentals: scope management, scheduling, risk tracking, issue resolution, and status reporting
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to produce clear project documentation and run effective meetings with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote-first environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without letting things fall through the cracks
  • Experience working within or alongside large enterprise organizations — particularly in technology, communications, healthcare, retail, or energy sectors (e.g., Microsoft, Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Netflix, Walmart, UnitedHealth Group, ExxonMobil, Nvidia, or comparable)

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies
  • Openness to and curiosity about AI tools and how they can improve project workflows
  • Familiarity with content operations, editorial workflows, or large-scale communications environments
  • Multilingual ability or experience managing language and translation projects
  • Experience supporting external agency partnerships or managing vendor deliverables at the project level

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end project management for individual initiatives across marketing, communications, technology, or content workstreams — including scope definition, scheduling, budget tracking, and delivery
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, task trackers, and status reports that give stakeholders clear, real-time visibility into project health
  • Coordinate day-to-day work across internal teams and external partners, managing dependencies, tracking action items, and proactively resolving blockers before they affect delivery
  • Lead project kickoffs, recurring status meetings, and retrospectives — capturing decisions, action items, and risks in a clear, shareable format
  • Identify, document, and escalate project risks and issues; develop mitigation plans and maintain a risk log throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships at the project level, including statement of work tracking, deliverable reviews, and invoice coordination
  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, decision logs, change requests, and final deliverable sign-off records
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities across multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining quality and attention to detail

Benefits

  • Rate is negotiable based on experience
