Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of successful automotive sales management experience.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and profitability goals.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
- Deep understanding of dealership operations, inventory management, and sales processes.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic business decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Nissan experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with VinSolutions, Dealertrack, vAuto, and CDK or similar dealership management systems.
- Strong understanding of digital retailing, CRM management, and lead conversion strategies.
- Proven ability to recruit and retain top-performing sales professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team to consistently exceed sales and profitability goals.
- Manage daily sales operations, including desking deals, inventory management, customer interactions, and sales processes.
- Monitor dealership performance metrics and implement strategies to maximize volume, gross profit, F&I opportunities, and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and develop top sales talent.
- Conduct daily sales meetings, performance coaching, and ongoing product and process training.
- Ensure every customer receives a world-class buying experience from first contact through delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Service, and Executive Leadership to achieve dealership objectives.
- Analyze market trends, inventory levels, and competitive activity to optimize pricing and sales strategies.
- Maintain compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and state and federal regulations.
- Foster a positive, professional, and accountable team culture built on integrity and excellence.
