About The Position

Sales Managers work directly with all staff throughout the entire Sales process, from start to finish, ensuring compliance with Northtown’s policies and performance expectations. The role requires a 5-day workweek, including Saturdays, with availability Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm. The Sales Manager will be involved early on with all guests, supporting the sales team throughout the entire sales process and ensuring the desking process is followed. Customer follow-up for all vehicle purchases, sold and unsold, is essential. The role also involves supporting Advanced TO for Financial Services and mastering the Sales Manager's contribution to selling warranties, effectively leading and managing staff to meet company objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous success in an automotive sales role for 3+ years required.
  • Previous Sales Management experience, minimum 3-5 years required.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate a smartphone, tablet, and/or PC.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate, train, coach, and mentor the entire sales process with the sales team.
  • Accurately enter all floor traffic into the CRM daily.
  • Count and document every vehicle inquiry, including walk-ins, service guests, phone calls, and internet leads.
  • Be involved with all guests early in the sales process to support the sales team.
  • Follow the established desking process consistently.
  • Follow up with all customers regarding vehicle purchases, both sold and unsold.
  • Support Advanced TO for Financial Services and related products.
  • Master the Sales Manager's contribution to selling warranties.
  • Effectively lead and manage staff to ensure company objectives are met.
