Requirements

  • Automotive dealership management experience preferred
  • Proven success in auto retail sales
  • Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others
  • Superior communication and customer service skills
  • Must be interested in training sales team members and operating within a collaborative environment
  • Enthusiastic personality with high-energy attitude
  • Ability to boost morale during the sales workday and enhance profitability
  • Organization and follow-up skills
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with team members and customers to develop enriching relationships that enhance client satisfaction and fuel the sales process.
  • Build rapport among customers to establish strong network of clientele and prospects.
  • Provide training and support to sales staff and assist in closing deals.
  • Facilitate regular sales training for continue team growth.
  • Demonstrate leadership by setting a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and profit.
  • Engage and motivate the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and best practice processes.
  • Drive business through a high-level of involvement in day-to-day operations.
  • Manage the negotiation process with sales team members ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
  • Partner with General Manager and/or General Sales Manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory.
  • Analyze business metrics to determine shortfalls and implement action plans to elevate performance.
