About The Position

The full-time Sales Leader supports the Store Leadership Team by leading Leader on Duty shifts and delivering a strong guest experience. The role oversees daily store operations as needed, trains and motivates associates, and drives sales results while representing company values. Aerie is a lifestyle brand offering intimates, apparel, activewear, and swim collections, and its #AerieREAL movement promotes body positivity and empowerment. As part of its Real Good promise, Aerie makes some products with recycled polyester, recycled nylon, or sustainably sourced cotton.

Requirements

Previous experience leading teams in a retail management role.
Ability to multitask and attention to detail, with strong priority-setting and time-management skills.
Business acumen.
Flexible availability to work when guests shop.

Responsibilities

Lead LOD (Leader on Duty) shifts and support the Store Leadership Team with daily store operations as needed.
Drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, building guest loyalty, and supporting business opportunities that improve KPI results.
Motivate and inspire associates through AEO's core values and hold them accountable to service standards, particularly on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
Recruit and hire talent to meet store staffing needs.
Train and develop associates to provide outstanding service and support a Guest First culture.
Set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates; provide ongoing feedback and real-time coaching; and recognize strong performance.
Execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising moves, and visual standards.
Keep Fitting Rooms guest-ready and ensure AEO Brand Standards are followed.
Maintain store safety standards, follow Asset Protection standards, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
