About The Position

The full-time Sales Leader supports the Store Leadership Team by leading Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts, delivering a strong guest experience, and overseeing daily store operations as needed. The role trains, motivates, and celebrates associates while driving sales results and representing company values.

Requirements

• Previous experience leading teams in a retail management role.
• Ability to multitask, with strong attention to detail, priority-setting, and time-management skills.
• Business acumen.
• Flexible availability to work when guests shop.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a strong in-store experience.
• Support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities and achieving KPI results.
• Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values, and hold associates accountable for service standards.
• Recruit and hire talent to meet store staffing needs.
• Train and develop associates to provide outstanding service and support a Guest First culture.
• Set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates and provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching.
• Celebrate strong associate performance and promote team engagement.
• Execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising moves, and visual standards.
• Keep Fitting Rooms guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
• Maintain store safety standards, follow Asset Protection standards, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
