About The Position

At Fleet Farm, the Sales Floor Team Member provides a positive and efficient customer experience in an assigned area or zone. The role focuses on customer service, maintaining merchandise availability and sales-floor readiness, assisting with price changes and department recovery, and supporting store operations as needed. Team members also promote Fleet Farm’s loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers and provide Best in Class service.
• Keep endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items full and in stock.
• Maintain customer-readiness standards by keeping the sales floor clean, including shelves, rail tops, displays, and kick plates.
• Assist with in-store price changes, including regular-price, clearance, and sale-price changes.
• Execute nightly department recovery by fronting and facing shelves, sweeping and cleaning, and filling critical products.
• Train on cash-register functionality and promptly assist with operating a register when customer demand requires it.
• Assist with merchandise resets, visual-display maintenance, housekeeping, and coordination of freight flow to ensure all merchandise is represented on the sales floor.
• Explain the advantages of the Fleet Rewards credit card and Loyalty Program and encourage customers to apply.
• Promote Fleet Farm’s customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
