About The Position

The Sales Floor Team Member provides a positive and efficient customer experience in an assigned area or zone. The role focuses on customer service, maintaining merchandise availability and sales-floor readiness, supporting price changes and department recovery, and assisting with register operations, merchandise resets, displays, housekeeping, and freight flow. Team members also promote Fleet Farm’s loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
• Previous retail or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers and provide Best in Class service.
• Keep endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items full and in stock.
• Maintain customer-ready sales-floor conditions, including clean shelves, rail tops, displays, and kick plates.
• Assist with in-store price changes, including regular, clearance, and sale prices.
• Complete nightly department recovery by fronting and facing shelves, sweeping and cleaning, and filling critical products.
• Train on cash register functionality and promptly assist at a register when customer demand requires it.
• Assist with merchandise resets, visual display maintenance, housekeeping, and coordination of freight flow to ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor.
• Explain the advantages of the Fleet Rewards credit card and Loyalty Program and encourage customers to apply.
• Promote the customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
