About The Position

The Sales Floor Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs.

The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; accurately handles customer purchases and returns; promotes credit and loyalty programs; processes and merchandises products; and contributes to store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. The role also follows labor laws and company procedures, participates in feedback and recognition, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following customer experience principles.
• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
