About The Position

Superior Foods International connects food producers around the world with customers in the retail, foodservice, and food manufacturing sectors. We specialize in frozen fruits, vegetables, and other food products, building long-term partnerships through reliable supply, product quality, and exceptional customer service. Superior Foods International is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to grow our customer base, expand existing business, and develop new opportunities across retail, foodservice, and food manufacturing channels. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and converting them into profitable, long-term partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with sourcing, operations, quality, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure customers receive exceptional service and dependable execution.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of business-to-business sales or account management experience.
Proven success developing new business and growing customer relationships.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to evaluate pricing, margins, volumes, and contract terms.
Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of accountability and follow-through.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience working with CRM and ERP systems.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

Food industry sales experience, particularly within frozen foods, produce, ingredients, private label, or foodservice distribution.
Bachelor's degree in business, Agriculture, Food Science, or a related field.
Existing relationships within retail, foodservice, or food manufacturing sectors.
International sourcing experience.
Spanish or other language proficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned customers, channels, and product categories.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in retail, foodservice, and food manufacturing.
Grow and maintain customer accounts by understanding customer needs and offering tailored product solutions.
Lead customer presentations, pricing discussions, negotiations, and commercial agreements.
Manage opportunities from initial prospecting through qualification, first shipment, and ongoing account growth.
Partner with sourcing teams to align customer needs with product availability, pricing, specifications, and supply capabilities.
Collaborate with logistics, quality assurance, finance, and customer service teams to ensure successful execution and issue resolution.
Manage pricing and account profitability while evaluating costs, margins, payment terms, and commercial risks.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast future business opportunities.
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market developments.
Represent Superior Foods at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Mentor and support junior sales team members.
