About The Position

tarte cosmetics is seeking an experienced Sales & Education Specialist to drive the brand's success at the store level. The role works at designated stores and focuses on interacting with store employees and clients. Specialists represent tarte's mission, educate customers and store teams about tarte products, generate sales, and provide in-store brand support to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate enjoys retail, has a passion for people and service, and has beauty retail experience. They are self-starting, have strong selling skills, and can pull, consult, and build a sale while adhering to retailer guidelines and standards.

Requirements

At least 2 years of retail sales experience in an open-sell environment.
Demonstrated skills in communication, selling, product knowledge, events, artistry, and education.
Ability to take strategic direction based on sales analysis.
Memorable, positive, professional, and enthusiastic presence.
Self-motivated, committed, and goal-oriented.
Ability to book and manage a multi-store visit calendar.
Flexibility with work hours; weekends and evenings are required.
Ability to travel within the local region as required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Sephora or Ulta is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Report to designated stores every day.
Achieve targeted sales goals for assigned stores.
Coordinate and schedule in-store sales support, events, and education initiatives.
Act as the primary day-to-day brand contact for designated stores.
Educate Sephora, Ulta, and Macy's teams, focusing on product knowledge, artistry, and selling skills.
Partner with store teams to plan in-store events and education initiatives that drive sales and increase brand awareness.
Evaluate each store's sales results.
Build and develop strong relationships with retailer partners at the store level.
Review and update in-store visual merchandising.
