About The Position

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise is seeking an experienced (5+ years) account director to sell our products and solutions with and through channel partners, both with new logo and established clients across multiple vertical markets. Your territory will be Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. This is a 100% work-from-home job and will require 50-75% travel. The role involves selling LAN, WLAN, IP PBX and UC technologies within a small team with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of finishing in the top 10%.
  • 5 years successful selling experience in our target markets (Education, Healthcare, State and Local Government).
  • Senior level customer relationships within the State and Local Government, Education and Healthcare sectors.
  • Results focused and ability to work independently- must have a solid track record with proven ability to identify, qualify and close deals.
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Salesforce.com experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
  • B.S. Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hit your number, which is an annual product and service revenue quota for your territory.
  • Recruit and enable business partners to sell.
  • Present our solutions and value propositions at sales meetings, trade shows and webinars (in-person and virtual) with customers, prospects and partners, supported by your dedicated sales engineering team.
  • Provide accurate forecasts using Salesforce.
