About The Position

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise is seeking an experienced (5+ years) account director to sell their products and solutions with and through channel partners, both with new logo and established clients across multiple vertical markets. The territory will cover Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. This is a 100% work-from-home job and will require 50-75% travel.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of finishing in the top 10%
  • 5 years successful selling experience in target markets (Education, Healthcare, State and Local Government)
  • Senior level customer relationships within the State and Local Government, Education and Healthcare sectors
  • Results focused and ability to work independently - must have a solid track record with proven ability to identify, qualify and close deals
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Salesforce.com experience
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required
  • B.S. Degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting and enabling business partners to sell
  • Presenting solutions and value propositions at sales meetings, trade shows, and webinars (in-person and virtual) with customers, prospects, and partners, supported by a dedicated sales engineering team
  • Providing accurate forecasts using Salesforce
