Abbott is a global healthcare leader focused on helping people live more fully. The Heart Failure (HF) business is developing solutions to diagnose, monitor, and manage heart failure. The Acute Product Consultant plays a key role in driving the growth of the CentriMag blood pump system within the region by leveraging specialized clinical and product knowledge in acute mechanical circulatory support. This intra-regional position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and requires close collaboration with Territory Managers and Clinical Consultants. The role involves acting as a region expert on CentriMag for Extra-Corporeal Life Support (ECLS) and cannulation, targeting new centers for adoption, and driving utilization through education and best practices. The consultant will coordinate with Territory Managers to drive utilization and facilitate relationships, identify and qualify accounts for CentriMag, and collaborate on sales opportunities. This includes leading product demonstrations, securing stakeholder support, and facilitating post-purchase training. General responsibilities include attending major ECLS and national society meetings, developing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), educating colleagues on CentriMag and ECLS/ACS trends, and contributing to the overall Acute Business with competitive selling arguments and product development suggestions.
