Sales Development Representative - San Francisco

Hightouch
•$100,000 - $100,000

About The Position

Hightouch is hiring a Sales Development Representative to create qualified pipeline for Account Executives by starting relevant, well-researched conversations with data and marketing leaders at large brands. This is not a volume-only role: the SDR is expected to use sound judgment in choosing accounts, identifying why prospects should care now, and assessing whether booked meetings become real opportunities. The role offers a path to develop into an Account Executive or future leader at Hightouch. The company provides structured onboarding, weekly coaching, and a clear set of competencies for growth.

Requirements

  • Evidence of entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to make progress without waiting for perfect direction or resources.
  • Preparation and planning skills, including researching, prioritizing, and managing the day deliberately.
  • Intrinsic drive to maintain energy and standards through rejection and change.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including making clear asks and keeping partners informed.
  • Coachability: seeking feedback, applying it, and identifying what changed as a result.
  • Resilience and the ability to recover from setbacks, adjust, and return to work.
  • Curiosity about data, marketing technology, and how large companies use customer data.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize accounts and prospects based on signals, fit, and timing, and explain the reasoning.
  • Develop a point of view for each account, including the problem Hightouch could solve, who owns it, and why now.
  • Choose between signal-based and value-based outreach and reach both data-side and marketing-side buyers in each account.
  • Use phone, email, LinkedIn, and events intentionally.
  • Use AI tools such as Glean, Claude, and Nooks to research more efficiently while owning the messaging and judgment.
  • Partner weekly with Account Executives on account strategy and hand off each meeting with clear written context.
  • Review results by persona, message, and channel, and adjust the approach based on evidence.
  • Bring work examples to coaching and apply feedback quickly.
