About The Position

Mirantis is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to contribute to the momentum of a high-velocity, rapidly scaling company. As an SDR, you will be responsible for prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and developing the marketing & sales pipeline, working closely with Account Executives. This role is the first step in the sales process and creates the initial impression of Mirantis for prospective customers. We are looking for 'hunters' with a sales orientation and a drive to succeed.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the IT sphere.
  • Outbound prospecting experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical capabilities in terms of business value.
  • Strong motivation to meet and exceed aggressive goals.
  • A strong desire to learn a comprehensive software sales process.
  • Open to take direction and feedback.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in technology solutions, cloud, and SaaS.
  • Skills with tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, 6sense etc.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales leads through outbound phone and email prospecting in close alignment with the sales team.
  • Generate new sales leads through inbound efforts, with a focus on proactive follow-up with interested prospects.
  • Schedule meetings and solution demos for the Account Executives.
  • Manage outbound leads process to maximize conversion and pipeline development.
  • Effectively communicate Mirantis’s offerings and apply them to the needs of a prospect.
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in Salesforce.
  • Achieve monthly quotas and objectives.
