As an SDR at STATSports, you will play a critical role in generating new leads, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving pipeline growth. You will use a data-driven approach and strong communication skills, working closely with our commercial team to educate potential customers about the STATSports platform and how it can help them improve their performance. This role is based in our Chicago office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferably in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field).
  • Proven Experience - Minimum of one year experience as an SDR or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, you will have a proven ability to clearly articulate value propositions in both verbal and written formats.
  • Goal-oriented, a strong track record of working towards sales targets and KPIS.
  • Interest in sports, with a passion for the industry and a desire to understand the needs and challenges of sports teams and athletes.
  • Experience with CRM tools - such as Salesforce.

  • Fluency in an additional language.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with prospects and working effectively in a team.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new sports teams using a variety of channels, including inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and referrals.
  • Use data to build and iterate on an outbound sales strategy that generates high-quality leads.
  • Conduct pre-qualified calls to assess the needs of potential customers and build relationships.
  • Engage with new and existing leads through CRM tools like Salesforce to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Educate potential customers about the STATSports platform and its impact on athletic performance.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to nurture and pass on qualified leads to close.
  • Foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Identify and recommend improvements in processes, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Work with global peers to refine processes and evolve the SDR role.
  • Continuously expand your STATSports platform knowledge and expertise.
